The Reference collection, along with biographies, is located in the first floor's historic Reading Room, a part of the original library building.

The Reference Desk and Reference Librarian are located next to the Reference Room. The Reference Librarian provides assistance in using the Library's reference materials, accessing other Libraries materials, and performing Internet searches.
